Last week was amazingly fun and busy here! Tuesday we got to play with our food as we created some late night snacks. The caramel popcorn was gooey and yummy, and I really enjoyed the cheesy ranch Chex Mix we made!
On Thursday, the Teen Room was hopping with many of you! I was so impressed to see such a great turnout for the Coffee Sack craft! Thanks to all who came and your creativity and patience in the making of your new tote bags! There were over 20 of you and I left feeling exhausted and with a few blisters from the hot glue on my fingers, but it was all in fun! I hate I didn't get to take any pictures of your wonderful creations, but if you made one you would like to share, please bring it by so I may take a picture of it (and you if you like) to share on the blog-o-sphere here.
Up this week:
Midsummer
Night’s Dreams
June 19 Sweet Dreams are Made of These @ 3PM
*Come in and create these really fun journals! I got all the supplies ready to go, and no hot glue required! :)
June
21 Shakespeare’s Midsummer Night’s
Dream viewing and Faerie party @ 3PM
Come watch the modern film adaptation of Shakespeare’s Midsummer Night’s Dream right when we welcome the summer solstice. Costumes are encouraged, but not necessary. Enjoy the food of Faeries and come see what visions will appear!
*Maybe, just maybe, I will have on some fairy wings for this one. This is a beautiful movie and classic Shakespeare, but if anything, come by for a snack.
Hope to see you here!
