Hello TCPLS Teens out there reading this on the blogosphere! We had a great, quick book club meeting yesterday afternoon with lots of laughter and input! Sorry for any that missed it due to it was shorter than normal, but thanks for understanding that I had to head to my son's open house at his school.
This Tuesday, August 21st is Movie "Night". I will find something -given
the request to have something Marvel Comic-ish- and we will watch it. I
will provide the popcorn and lemonade. Come, relax, and hang out with
your friends.
Next month's book club topic: Classics with a Twist!
Let's read something that takes a classic story line and puts a modern adaptation to the old tale. It could be something like a fairy tale put into a modern day setting or an ancient fable put into a graphic novel format. Have fun and if you need help finding something, let me know! I also recommend checking out www.goodreads.com to help in your search for great books.
