The Anime Club Met August 26 from 4:00-4:30pm.
Two members and Ms. Judy, (one of the new Teen Folks) discussed the meaning of Anime and how to distinguish Manga from other styles. Members had a drawing contest and Jason won, while David came in second. Members asked for "How to draw Anime & Manga" books, which Ms. Judy will try to get for the next meeting... September 9 @ 4:00pm in the TEEN ROOM@ TCPLS.
Anyone interested in Anime or Manga may join and are welcome to attend!

Last Week of Teen Summer Reading
June 25- Movie and Party Day! The Hobbit @ 4PM
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey follows title character Bilbo Baggins, who is swept into an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor.. Not only discovers depths of guile and courage that surprise even him, he also gains possession of Gollum's "precious" ...a simple, gold ring that is tied to the fate of all Middle-earth in ways Bilbo cannot begin to know. Join us for the movie, a party (costumes encouraged!), and hobbit food and games. Rated PG-13, intense action & adventure

Summer Reading 2013! Are You Ready?!
Teens who register for VRP will receive a log to keep track of the pages they read. Participants who reach their first goal of 500 pages will receive a prize, as well as a raffle ticket. Raffle tickets are available for each 500 page goal reached. VRP will also feature fun-filled programs, movies, crafts, games, much more! Check our website for more details, tcpls.org!

A terrarium is a closed environment, and can actually be used to illustrate how an ecosystem works. The crafting world seems to have come down with a major case of terrarium fever! It's so much fun creating these verdant little worlds!
