June 25- Movie and Party Day! The Hobbit @ 4PM

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey  follows title character Bilbo Baggins, who is swept into an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor.. Not only discovers depths of guile and courage that surprise even him, he also gains possession of Gollum's "precious" ...a simple,  gold ring that is tied to the fate of all Middle-earth in ways Bilbo cannot begin to know.  Join us for the movie, a party (costumes encouraged!), and hobbit food and games.   Rated PG-13, intense action & adventure

Anime Club Present Week 3 of TCPLS Teen Summer Reading!

We have had a blast this last week! Continue the fun as Anime Club presents some fun Japanese themed events as we continue to dive "Beneath the Surface."

June 18 Movie Day! Steamboy@ 4PM

Steamboy is a 2004 Japanese steampunk anime film directed and co-written by Katsuhiro Otomo. Come enjoy this retro-futuristic flick!  Presented by TCPLS Teen Amine Club!  Rated PG-13 for action violence.

June 20 Sushi Candy @ 4PM

A fun and sweet twist on the Japanese favorite! Come dive under the sea as we create candy sushi with crispy rice cereal, fruit leather, and gummy fish! Presented by TCPLS Teen Anime Club!

Yoga and meditation is a personal experience to help channel self-awareness and delving beneath your own surface. Come join us as Will from Metta Day Spa guides us to center our inner selves. Snacks provided!

 

June 13 Sweet Serenity Stones @ 4PM

 

Come and create your own edible fudge serenity stones to help give you the power of positive thinking and finding your inner self. Help delight your mind and stomach with this culinary craft!
